Product features

● Empesid L Cream is a therapeutic agent for vulva symptoms caused by recurrent Candida, which uses clotrimazole, an imidazole antifungal component, as an active ingredient.
● For itching of the vulva due to recurrent Candida, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 2-3 times a day.

Precautions

■ When not to use the product
(If you do not follow these instructions, the current symptoms may worsen or adverse reactions are more likely to occur. )
1. This product should not be used in the following persons:
 (1) Person who seems to have developed the condition for the first time. (The first time symptoms appear, they may be caused by another disease, in which case you need to see a physician.)
 (2) Patients who have had an allergic symptom to this drug or its ingredients. (The use of this medicine may cause allergic symptoms again.)
 (3) Person under 15 years of age or over 60 years of age. (People under the age of 15 are likely to develop for the first time, and people over the age of 60 may have other illnesses or complex infections with other bacteria)
 (4) Pregnant women or those suspected to be pregnant. (Use of this medicine should be done with caution and should be examined by a doctor.)
 (5) Persons with fever, chill, lower abdominal pain, back and shoulder pain, colored or bloody vaginal discharge, vaginal discharge with fishy smell, cessation of menstruation, irregular or abnormal bleeding from the vagina, ulcer in the vagina or vulva, edema or sores. (Since there is a possibility of other diseases, it is necessary to see a physician.)
 (6) Those who have been diagnosed with the following:
  Diabetes(It is likely that the disease will be repeated frequently, so you need to see a physician.)
 (7) Persons who repeatedly experience this disease frequently. (People who have recurrent Candida recurrences once every 1-2 months or more than once within 6 months may have other diseases lurking)
 (8) Persons who do not know whether they are experiencing reoccurrence of vaginal candidiasis or not. (If you cannot judge yourself, you need to see a physician.)
2. The medicine should not be used on the following parts.
 Site other than around the vagina (vulva).(This drug is not used for anything other than the vulva)
■ Consultation
1. The following persons should consult a physician or pharmacist before use.
 (1) Patients undergoing medical treatment from a physician(Other drugs prescribed by your physician may be affected, or you may already be using the same medicine as this drug.)
 (2) Patients who have experienced allergic symptoms associated with drugs, etc.(People who have allergies due to drugs, etc. may exprience allergic symptoms with this drug.)
 (3) Nursing women.(Careful use of drugs is required.)
2. If any of the following symptoms persist, deteriorate or develop after using this drug, the symptoms may be side effects. Please stop using it immediately and consult your physician or pharmacist with this document.

3. If the symptoms do not improve after 3 days of use, or if the symptoms do not disappear after 6 days of use, consult a doctor. In addition, even if there is no effect by using this drug alone, do not treat yourself, but consult a doctor. (there may be severe symptoms or other diseases)

Indication

Itching of the vulva with a rash due to recurrence of vaginal candida (limited to those who have received diagnosis / treatment in the past)
However, vaginal preparations (medicaments inserted into the vagina) should be used in combination with vaginal symptoms (such as vaginal discharge and heat).

Dosage and administration

For adults (15 to 60 years old), apply appropriate amount to affected area 2-3 times a day. However, if the symptoms do not improve even after 3 days of use, or if the symptoms do not disappear after 6 days of use, seek medical attention.
[1] For vulva symptoms only: Use this drug. However, it is desirable to use vaginal preparations (drugs inserted into the vagina) together.
[2] When accompanied by vaginal symptoms (such as vaginal discharge or heat): Use vaginal preparations (drugs inserted into the vagina) in combination.

Precautions of Dosage and Administration

[1] Strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration.
[2] Please be careful not to get into eyes. Should this get in your eyes, immediately rinse with cold or warm water and see an ophthalmologist.
[3] Use this medicine only around the vagina (vulva).
[4] Before and after use, please wash your hands thoroughly with soap.
[5] Do not use during menstruation. Discontinue use if menstruation begins during use. In such a case, please consult a physician because it is necessary to confirm your cure, etc.

Ingredient and amount

Clotrimazole: 1%: It shows a strong antimycotic effect against candida, which is the causative microorganism of vaginal candidiasis.

Additive

Sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, cetyl myristate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, benzyl alcohol

Precautions for storage and handling

[1] Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
[2] Keep out of reach of children.
[3] Do not transfer the medicine to a different container. (It may lead to misuse or alter the quality of the drug )
[4] Avoid contact with contraceptive latex products such as condoms and pessaries. (These products may be deteriorated or damaged)
[5] Do not use the product after the expiration date. Even within the expiration date, use as soon as possible after opening. (To maintain quality)
